We know that a wage gap between men & women exists. On average women earn 82 cents on the dollar compared to men. And yet for some reason, it can be difficult to truly envision this gap and see how unfair it really is. So we went to the fairness experts — kids — and used Halloween candy to demonstrate what wage (and candy) inequality really looks like.
With a production budget of $500 and no paid media, engagement increased 2,600%, and social shares climbed 4,100%, making it the Women’s Foundations highest performing post of the year and driving sign ups for their salary negotiation workshops. It also won a National Addy.
